Support pours in for UCP Central California
United Cerebral Palsy Central California has been fortunate to receive unwavering support from our community through these harrowing months.
A great deal of that help has come from businesses and organizations within the communities where we offer services, including Fresno, Hanford and Clovis.
We would like to take this opportunity to celebrate these generous gifts:
UCPCC received $500 from the State Farm Good Neighbor Relief Fund with help from board member Mark Headrick. The funds were used to support our arts programs for adults.
Over the summer, our children’s programs received $3,600 from Bank of the Sierra in Hanford. Those funds were used to support our technology needs as our programs have shifted to a remote-learning setting. We were able to purchase iPads and other tools to facilitate that shift in services.
We received $1,000 from Fig Garden Rotary and $350 from Clovis Rotary to purchase supplies supporting our Art in the Park programs. Art in the Park is another creative way UCPCC is meeting the needs of our students during this pandemic while maintaining necessary safety protocols for students and staff.
Without help from businesses and organizations like State Farm, Bank of the Sierra, Fig Garden Rotary and Clovis Rotary, UCPCC cannot meet the needs of our students. We are beyond grateful they have joined our mission, supporting children and adults with disabilities in the Central Valley.
